kim le’s korner #12

“gives you hell”

MAC down!!!!!!!!!!  I was in the process of editing my fabulous boudoir sessions when my iMAC suddenly died on me!  It just shut down and the power refused to come back on!  Maybe the boudoir sessions were sooo HOT, my MacDaddy couldn’t handle it! LOL – it’s important to laugh at everything, right?!  Anyway, after what seemed like hours of trying everything, I finally brought my sad Mac to the Apple Store where they diagnosed it a problem with the power supply and I have been separated from my MacDaddy ever since.  Of course I back everything up, so no worries on the loss of photos, but it’s been tough not having my workhorse available for my editing.  Plus my room looks so sad without it’s beautiful 24 inch screen. Hopefully he will come home soon…sigh….

In the mean time, I thought I would catch you up on the latest saga(s) of my life.  Ok not that interesting, but here are my miscellaneous musings for this korner:

  • May has kind of a not-so-great month for me in recent years.  I think I will hibernate for all of May 2010.  Thanks.
  • One thing I truly do love about May is the NBA Playoffs!  I am a basketball nut, especially a-fan-for-life of the LAKERS.  To be continued…I hope!
  • I am moving in 5 days AGAIN.  I counted and I realized that I will be moving for the 8th time in 7 years!!!  It’s crazy!!! I should just own my own moving truck.  Heck I should just live in a truck.  But then again where would I put all of my shoes?!
  • I had the best Memorial weekend.  No computer = unfortunately no editing :) .  Soooo I spent the weekend eating, eating and more eating.  And oh yeah I got in about an hour of activity by renting a beach cruiser with friends and zipped along the beautiful Balboa Peninsula.  It was one of those days, where you think to yourself “life is goooood“.  Summer is almost here and I *heart* summer and everything about it!  I love the brighter sun, later sunsets and warmer weather.  Plus I have some amazing weddings on the way and fabulous trips planned for this summer!!!  It will be one super busy, super fun summer!!!
  • Since I can’t edit any photos right now, I thought I would share our hilarious photobooth pic from Cynthia & Ron’s wedding I second shot with the lovely Sarah K Chen and her hubby Jeff.  Check out lil’ Ron sneaking behind me and Sarah’s eyepatch! LOL!  A full blog post of Cynthia & Ron’s amazing day coming soon!
  • cynthia and ron wedding photobooth

  • Ok enough with this korner.  I know you are just going to scroll down and look at the beautiful boudoirs again anyways :) .

“rock that thang”

I know some of you are sad that this is the last, but certainly not least of the boudoir bonanza.   Don’t worry I will have more sessions coming up soon! :)    I am overwhelmed by all of the wonderful feedback I have received regarding the last two boudoir sessions!  I have never seen so many blog hits! LOL.  I just wanted to share some notes about my boudoir sessions!  First of all, yes these featured ladies are unbelievably blessed with their good looks, but you do not have to look like them or supermodels to have  great photos.  The whole purpose of the sessions is to embrace your beauty and capture what makes you really beautiful and special.  Every woman’s body is different so I don’t have one formula for photographing my models.  I work with what makes the woman feel the most comfortable and beautiful.  For example, Ms. Connie has an amazing body with lean, long legs so I tried to accentuate that in her photos.  Ms. Lana is the gorgeous blond bombshell with beautiful blond hair and blue eyes which were the points of focus for my shots.   Ms. Patricia as you will see below has radiant skin and tantalizing eyes so I played on those qualities for her shoot.   And all of the ladies were made even more beautiful with makeup and hair done by the talented ladies the All Made Up Team. Having makeup and hair done by professionals really make a difference and I would highly recommend it for any shoot.  If you are interested in  your own personal, intimate boudoir session with me, you know how to find me -  by emailing here =).

Ok, on with the good stuff!  Ms. Patricia is truly a trooper!  You wouldn’t know it by looking at these photos by she was sick (and probably drowsy from her Nyquil…lol) when we did this shoot!  Man I wonder how she looks when she is perfectly healthy!  Patricia was amazing because she really understood her body and knew exactly what works for her.  Why do I suddenly sound like a judge on America’s Next Top Model?! LOL.  So here’s Ms. Patricia doing her thang!

“knock you down”

As promised, the HOTNESS continues!!!  Ms. Lana with her fun personality, beautiful blond hair and blue eyes definitely worked it.  Again, makeup was wonderfully done by the All Made Up Team.  It’s really hard to call this work…

Sorry fellas – this beauty is happily married :) .

Don’t let her sultry look fool you – Lana also has the most gorgeous smile! :)

I really like this photo – it reminds me of Claudia Schiffer’s Guess? campaign days.

I loved that Lana decided to wear her hubby’s dress shirt for a few pics. I have a feeling she looks waaay better in it :) .

And having a lil’ fun! :)

“if you see (connie)”

WARNING!!! Very HOT photos to follow!!! Earlier this month I did a mini-boudoir marathon with three incredibly lovely ladies so I have three incredibly sexy blog posts coming your way!  To not overload you with too much hotness, I will post one a day – so you have to come back for more tomorrow :) .  It was hard to narrow down my favorites  since there were so many gorgeous photos to choose from!  And just to let any potential clients know, I only post boudoir photography on my blog or website with the consent of my clients.  The ladies from this marathon session were gracious enough to let me share their beauty with the rest of the world!

All make up & hair was impeccably done by the amaaaazing All Made Up Team.  They did such an amazing job and really impressed me with their professionalism and technique.   Special thanks to Vivian Tran from the All Made Up Team who helped with the coordination!

I started off the day with Connie, who as you can see is  not too shabby of a way to start off the day!  Connie is simply stunning and so easy to work with.  I felt like I was playing Barbie for the day, with an extra HOT Asian barbie that is ;) .

Every outfit (or lack thereof :) ) was on fire that day! Connie was working her sultry, fierce look all day, but I was very proud of myself for getting her to smile in this photo.

“i’m yours”

I was truly honored to be a part of Michelle & Tony’s wedding day. Their wedding day was not only about their union as husband & wife, but a wonderful celebration with family & friends. The day was filled with so much emotion, love and joy. I found myself smiling, crying and of course working all day :) .  Thanks to my second shooter Patrick!!!

*Michelle & Tony – You have such warm and fun personalities. Your love like your smiles are contagious! And I know where you guys get it from – you have the most incredible family & friends! Congrats!!! xoxo, Kim Le

The lovely day began with a lovely tea ceremony. Check out this amazing shot by Patrick!

I just loved this! Among family & friends, Tony is affectionately known as Shrek so all of the Michelle & Tony’s cousins put on a show by surprising the bride & groom with Shrek hats and a song. It was sooo sweet!!!!

I’m telling you – these two have the most infectious smiles! Here they are enjoying the slideshow!
