“it’s my life”
I just got done a few hours ago shooting Lien & David’s incredible November wedding and now I am about to pack for an incredibly long flight to the motherland! Ever since my first trip to Europe in 2006, I have caught a serious case of the travel bug and now I try to travel as much as I humanly possible. Last year, I went down under to
Australia and now I am going somewhere I have been wanting to go my whole life – Vietnam!!! I am the youngest in my Phamily and the only one born in the United States, so I’m eager to meet my relatives who are still over there and see how life started for the Phams. I am ready for my Asia adventure and can’t wait to immerse myself in the history and culture of my people! Well not quite that ready…I still have to pack and my flight is 8 hours away! Actually I still have yet to unpack from my last trip to the Caribbean!
On that note, I will be gone for 3 whole weeks and unfortunately will not be able to return any emails or phone calls until December 10, 2009.
Please check back in soon because I will have SO much to share! Here’s a sneak peek of one of the many wonderful things to come

“spotlight”
You may remember this gorgeous couple from their
first engagement session in August. Well, these two were back for more and I couldn’t have imagined spending such a beautiful Southern California day with any other couple! We shot this session a few weeks ago (can you believe it’s this lovely in November?!), and I just had to post these engagement teasers today because guess what?! They are getting married this Saturday!!!! I can’t wait to see how amazing they will look!
Big, big thanks to the amazingly talented Angelina of the amazingly wonderful
All Made Up Team. She did an incredible job on Lien’s makeup and I’m sure she will do just the same this Saturday! On a side note, I think I’m going to have to invest in a thesaurus because I use waaaay too many of the same adjectives in my blog posts. Sometimes I don’t realize how many times I say gorgeous, beautiful and incredible in one blog post. But, sometimes there are really no words to describe…*sigh*…I guess I just really heart my job! It’s so gorgeous, beautiful and incredible

“somebody to love”
I’m BAAACK!!! But, not for long…I have another big trip coming up in a few days. Check back soon for all the exciting details!!!
In the meantime, I wanted to share with you Tam-Giao & Chris’ fabulous Los Angeles e-session. We hit up a record 3 locations in one day. I didn’t mind at all because I just love spending time with these two. They are constantly cracking me up and make it so easy to do what I do. Not to mention Tam-Giao always has some killer shoes on. Gotta love it.

“all at sea”
Somebody pleeaaase pinch me because I feel like I’m in a really amazing dream! I am leaving today for another major trip and this time it has me going to gorgeous San Juan, Puerto Rico! From there, I will be embarking on the beautiful
SeaDream Yacht to shoot Kim & Adam’s amaaaazing Caribbean wedding!!!! We will be traveling from San Juan to St. John and then St. Thomas! Seriously, I still can’t believe I’ve been given this incredible opportunity! I guess those swimming lessons might come in handy after all
. And no I cannot fully swim yet and so yes I will be paying attention to the life vest lessons on the yacht very closely
.
Please keep in mind while I would love to be answering your phone calls or checking emails while standing on the sandy beaches of St. Thomas, I will be unable to do so as there is no cell phone or internet service. I know, I was really hoping to do some work instead of work on my golden tan
. *Sigh*…it’s a tough life but I will live it for all of us
. I have always been a team player
. As such, I will not be able to respond to messages until Monday, November 16, 2009.
And if you are more of a visual person, I will be on board this big beauty:

AND I have an even BIGGER trip planned for this month…stay tuned more more exciting details!

“happy”
I know I say this alllll the time, but I LOVE, LOVE my job
. And why wouldn’t I?! A few weeks ago I got to join one of my fun couples at the happiest place on earth for their fun and colorful engagement session. I had not been to Disneyland in years so I was probably more excited than they were. I even ended up getting a season pass
. So if you are dying to have a shoot at Disneyland too, I can join ya for free, except for weekends and select blockout dates…lol. Megan & Nick are also season pass holders so they have spent many memorable dates there and I was so happy to see them in their happiest moments. Of course, one of the not-so-happy moments for us was when we braved the tea cups and lets just say shooting while you are spinning around in circles is not such a good idea…lol… Nevertheless it was so fun being a kid again and finding inspiration from such a wonderful couple and happy place.
Ok really, how much more fun can we get than the Dumbo ride?! I got kinda scared on it…lol..

LOVE this shot!

Yes we know have to have fun alright.

Note: this is not as fun as it looks…lol.

But Toontown was super fun:

And so are lollipops

Doesn’t Megan have such beautiful eyes?!

“hush hush”
Miss Pink Ruffles is my latest boudoir. She wanted to remain anonymous but graciously allowed me to post some of the pretty photos from our boudoir session. Miss Pink Ruffles brought her pink ruffle skirt and her A game for this shoot. She rocked it in each and every outfit and I could seriously have shot her all day.

And here’s proof that Miss Pink Ruffles was just as hot without the pink ruffles.

“run this town”
So what happens in Vegas…actually ends up on my blog
. Krystle & David made their way to sin city to join me for a very special Las Vegas style engagement shoot. Vegas is one of my favorite places and an added bonus was getting to work with such a gorgeous couple. We had so much fun running/driving around the strip and managed to not lose any money in the process
. David is lucky that I didn’t take him to the poker tables and clean him out
. But, David is truly lucky because he has found a really special lady in Krystle and they are about to start their wonderful new life together! I couldn’t be happier for them! And me? Well I didn’t get to meet Justin Timberlake who was in town for a concert that night (I guess our new life together will just have to wait), but I did take my money and double downed
.
Viva Las Vegas!

I could have shot at the beautiful Bellagio hotel at day!

Just LOVE this!

My favorite shot of the day:

“we are phamily”
A week ago, the Phamily and I ventured to Washington D.C. for a Phamily wedding and some Phamily fun. We had a great time at the wedding and a great time visiting our nation’s capital. Ok, judging by the pics below, maybe we had a lil’ too much fun
. I had been to Washington D.C. before as a lil’ kid, but now that I’m older, I was able to fully comprehend everything and felt an overwhelming appreciation for the amazing history of our nation. Washington D.C. is such a beautiful and historical destination – I highly recommend going there if you haven’t already. Oh and don’t forget to stuff yourself with some extra large Maryland blue crab
.
Where to next????? You will just have to re-visit the blog next week to find out…
The oh-so-cool-and-easy D.C. metro:

Who says Phams can’t jump?! This was before the rain came and rained on our parade
In case you couldn’t tell, I’m the second Pham from the right with braces
I know…I gots hops…lol…but I think I pulled a muscle in the process.

Some sisterly fun/craziness:
