Charisma & Ryan’s 11.8.08 wedding was simple, rich and complete with the main ingredient: family. With countless bridal party members, family and sponsors, everyone was there to witness and celebrate what they claimed they had waited so long for =P. Charisma & Ryan are both sweet and calm in demeanor, but hidden inside are the goofballs I know they really are =). I have so much fun with these two and no doubt that they will have many more laughs, smiles and sweet moments ahead together. As their song says, they are each other’s first, last and everything.

When I meet people who have visited my blog, the first thing they say is “I love the girl in the red dress!” Virginia & Brian’s stylish shoot at the Bradbury Building will forever be remembered on my blog and their wedding on November 1, 2008 left many more lasting impressions. Virginia & Brian made sure they were not only having a wedding to celebrate their union, but also the party of a lifetime! Virginia & Brian treated their 300+ guests at The Villa in Westminster, CA with countless surprises, entertainment and endless good times! I soon found myself surrounded by happy faces, constant laughter and many cries of “this is the best wedding ever!“

**Virginia & Brian - I have had the great pleasure of getting to know you both over the last few months. Your style, sweetness, and sophistication are inspirations to us all. We start off with the traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony at the beginning of the wedding day. I just love the traditional Vietnamese gowns that the bride and bridesmaids wore!

Our next stop was the beautiful First Presbyterian church in Santa Ana, CA for the lovely ceremony.

I fell in love with the bridesmaids’ dresses!

After the ceremony, we ventured to the nearby courthouse for some portraits.

Finally we were off to The Villa, where the night was just beginning! Here’s some of the gorgeous decor, out & in:

The first agenda of the evening? A surprise of course! Brian surprised everyone including his beautiful bride with a song he wrote and sang especially for her. Brian announced he couldn’t sing, but Virginia and everyone in the room was completely touched by his sweet song. I had to fight back tears myself! I know I’m so sappy.

Virginia & Brian’s sweet slow dance was followed by a surprising rendition of Grease’s “You’re the One that I Want” with the whole bridal party. Check out Virginia’s kicks!

What was the next surprise?! How about the maid of honor surprising the bride & groom with the UCLA cheer squad! During their UCLA days, Virginia told her maid of honor that when she got married she wanted the UCLA cheer squad there and there they were! You know I just had to post a pic of my alma mater! =)

And the surprises kept on coming! There was a traditional lion dance that entertained all guests followed by a kick-a$$ surprise performance by Kaba Modern of America’s Best Dance Crew!!! I never been so entertained in my life!!!

Let me introduce you to this wonderful lil’ family I recently had the honor of getting to know. Melissa & Raymond are incredible parents to their adorable baby boy Shane, who was about 6 months when we did this shoot. From their matching outfits to Shane’s Burberry shirt - they are just a picture perfect bunch!

Ok finally…I know, I know…it’s been 2 weeks since the best concert of my life… My sister has been impatiently waiting…hahah… I wished I could have snuck in my SLR, but these photos will do and the memories engraved in my mind and heart…hahah. But, really you have to be there to believe it. It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! They performed for 2 hours and sang all of the old goodies!!! They still got the moves too! Danny even started break dancing at one point and Jordan took off his shirt…hahah… I’m going to try to go the November one! I *heart* NKOTB!!! My life is now complete!!!

Who would have thought this guys would be back and I would be holding this ticket?!!! Oh yeah, oh yeah…

The concert is about to start and my sister and Jen are super excited!!! We have been waiting 19 years for this! HAHAHHA

And here it is! OMG…I could not contain my excitement! Especially when my husband Joey McIntyre sang “Please Don’t Go Girl”. I think I was screaming and jumping up and down the whole time!

And who said “who wants to watch them?!” Apparently everyone!!!

My favorite part was when they went on this lil’ stage in the middle of the crowd and performed a few songs. They were so close!!!

*Sigh*…so dreamy!

Sad….the last song…it’s the “OUG” of “HANGIN’ TOUGH”!

Alyssa Tay was born on October 3, 2008 to proud parents Tammy & Anthony and big sister Ashley. Complete with ten toes and ten fingers, she made her family even more complete and the world a whole lot cuter. I am proud to call this family an extension of my own and share in this time of happiness and love with them.

I know you’ve been missing it!!! It’s finally baaackk!!! There’s tons I can ramble about but I’ll spare all of you and just talk about a few things =P.

• First, I have the news on and they are reporting Madonna & Guy Ritchie are getting divorced?! And yes that’s on the world news tonight!
• Secondly, the Dodgers, like the Patriots (lost in the Superbowl), the Bruins (lost in the Final 4) and the Lakers (lost in the Finals!) are making me mad. They better win tonight and come back from their 3-1 deficit! Am I just cursing all of the teams I root for?! AHHHHH!!!!
• Thirdly, I will keep my TV talk to a minimum this time, but I just want to say I am obsessed with Gossip Girl. I know 17 year olds drinking martinis at bars isn’t realistic, but it’s sooooo gooood and puts the new 90210 to shame.
• Fourthly, my eyes are acting up again. They are severely dry and extremely sensitive to bright lights. I can’t even wear my contacts and the other morning it was hard to open my eyes. I must have like 5 different type of eye drops going in there and still they get worse again! My eye doctor told me I don’t blink enough and stare at the computer too long. So if I’m blinking constantly the next time you see me you’ll know why! Oh and if worse comes to worse, I will need something called punctal plugs for my eyes to create more tears. More tears?! I doubt I need that (the bf will agree =P). Maybe I should just rent the movie “P.S. I Love You” 10 more times. If you haven’t seen it, you must! It made me cry a river.
• Fifthly (I doubt I am using the correct word here), I can’t believe it’s mid October already. Where did summer go?! I am diggin all of the Fall clothes though. I love all of the shades of grey/gray this season.
• And finally, I am still in withdrawal from the most awesome concert I have ever been to! Sorry Justin, but Jordan was better!!! *Sigh* Photos to come!
• Keep checking back for more posts, I have 2 baby/family sessions, 2 boudoir sessions to post and 3 weddings in November that I am really excited about! YAAAAY!!!

Ann & Chris were married on a beautiful September day in Anaheim Hills, CA. Sunshine and smiles were filled throughout the ceremony as loved ones gathered to witness this wonderful union. I just LOVE Ann & Chris - they are so full of life and joy. They are always making each other (and me! =)) laugh and I really can’t imagine two people more suited for one another. Their ceremony was followed by a lovely reception at the Ports O Call Restaurant in San Pedro, CA. Everything was superbly coordinated by the fabulous Amanda Auer of In the Now Weddings.
