“the wedding day”
The blog is back in action folks! I am thrilled to bring you a wedding that tugged at my heart strings a little more than usual. Living in Australia, Vi + Robin traveled to California to get married at a closer destination to her Vi’s family. I first met Vi + Robin as a couple during their engagement session (4 days before the wedding!), and I instantly fell in love with their humor and quirkiness. I just knew their wedding day was going to be a blast. But on their wedding day, I learned so much more about this wonderful couple. Vi + Robin have the sweetest, most supportive families and friends. Vi + Robin are not afraid to laugh and have fun and be different – they surprised guests with Robin’s Vietnamese speech and a fun, choreographed Bollywood perfomance. But more than anything, Vi + Robin are committed to doing anything for each other and are not afraid to show how incredibly in love they are. We were all witnesses to this as Robin sang a surprise song he had written for his beautiful bride. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house – mine included. It was such a touching moment and reminded me of how wonderful and special my job really is. I wish Vi + Robin all the best in their international adventures and I know they need no other wishes in the love that they have already found.
