“love lockdown”
I had a great engagement session with Lynda & Mike in beautiful Laguna Beach, CA. last month These two are high school sweethearts (ever since Mike stalked Lynda =P) who are going to make their union official this Saturday! “my first, my last, my everything”
Charisma & Ryan’s 11.8.08 wedding was simple, rich and complete with the main ingredient: family. With countless bridal party members, family and sponsors, everyone was there to witness and celebrate what they claimed they had waited so long for =P. Charisma & Ryan are both sweet and calm in demeanor, but hidden inside are the goofballs I know they really are =). I have so much fun with these two and no doubt that they will have many more laughs, smiles and sweet moments ahead together. As their song says, they are each other’s first, last and everything.

“lovely”
When I meet people who have visited my blog, the first thing they say is “I love the girl in the red dress!” Virginia & Brian’s stylish shoot at the Bradbury Building will forever be remembered on my blog and their wedding on November 1, 2008 left many more lasting impressions. Virginia & Brian made sure they were not only having a wedding to celebrate their union, but also the party of a lifetime! Virginia & Brian treated their 300+ guests at The Villa in Westminster, CA with countless surprises, entertainment and endless good times! I soon found myself surrounded by happy faces, constant laughter and many cries of “this is the best wedding ever!“
**Virginia & Brian – I have had the great pleasure of getting to know you both over the last few months. Your style, sweetness, and sophistication are inspirations to us all. Thank you for having me there to share in your special day. Have a good time on your honeymoon tomorrow!!! =) xoxo, Kim Le**

We start off with the traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony at the beginning of the wedding day. I just love the traditional Vietnamese gowns that the bride and bridesmaids wore!
Our next stop was the beautiful First Presbyterian church in Santa Ana, CA for the lovely ceremony.
I fell in love with the bridesmaids’ dresses!
After the ceremony, we ventured to the nearby courthouse for some portraits.

Finally we were off to The Villa, where the night was just beginning! Here’s some of the gorgeous decor, out & in:
The first agenda of the evening? A surprise of course! Brian surprised everyone including his beautiful bride with a song he wrote and sang especially for her. Brian announced he couldn’t sing, but Virginia and everyone in the room was completely touched by his sweet song. I had to fight back tears myself! I know I’m so sappy.
Virginia & Brian’s sweet slow dance was followed by a surprising rendition of Grease’s “You’re the One that I Want” with the whole bridal party. Check out Virginia’s kicks!
What was the next surprise?! How about the maid of honor surprising the bride & groom with the UCLA cheer squad! During their UCLA days, Virginia told her maid of honor that when she got married she wanted the UCLA cheer squad there and there they were! You know I just had to post a pic of my alma mater! =)
And the surprises kept on coming! There was a traditional lion dance that entertained all guests followed by a kick-a$$ surprise performance by Kaba Modern of America’s Best Dance Crew!!! I never been so entertained in my life!!!

“one sweet day”
There was a slight overcast all throughout the day, but everything was just perfect for Jessica & Brian’s wedding day. All the details were perfectly in place – a gorgeous view of Dana Point Harbor, a beachy-island theme to match the couple’s easy going & spirited nature and of course the love & support of family & friends. The day and details were so carefully coordinated by the fabulous Amanda of In The Now Weddings and Events. Jessica & Brian wore the bluest of blues and the happiest of smiles. They have such a refreshing love and undeniable connection. There’s no doubt that there are many more perfect days ahead for these two =).
